Berkeley is best known as the home of Dr. Edward Jenner and the site of historic Berkeley Castle, however recently Berkeley is getting known for being the wedding capital of the Cotswolds!

The Cotswold Wedding Guild has been established to promote excellence in wedding suppliers in and around Berkeley and the Cotswolds.

The group is the brainchild of Pippa Springer and Clare Palmer of the Veils of Berkeley bridal wear shop.

 “It was important to us to harness the local potential within the various wedding suppliers in Berkeley and the surrounding area, to create the perfect one-stop-shop for couples planning their wedding in the Cotswolds.” said Pippa.

We plan joint events and marketing ideas to help promote weddings in the area and the individual members too.  Based in and around Berkeley the members include Adam Drake Photography, Archibald Edwards, bespoke wedding stationery, Berkeley Castle, Berkeley Flowers, Fisher Motor Company, Liz Lane, composer and arranger, Napier Catering and Veils of Berkeley.

Members of the Guild pride themselves on producing quality products and services in conjunction with outstanding customer service and have launched our website www.cotswoldweddingguild.co.uk which features all members.

Berkeley Castle began hosting civil wedding ceremonies in 2008 and now celebrates over 30 weddings each year, but the town of Berkeley can now offer a full range of wedding services too.
